Aplicor Alliance Partner Programs
Aplicor supports six partner categories as part of its Alliance Partner Network. Those programs are largely molded around business partner types and include International Partner, OEM Partner, ISV Partner, Hosting Partner, Solution Partner and Referral Partner. The Referral Partner is little more than a sale opportunity lead registration program.
From our google research our reader comments, we've identified four Aplicor International Partners - in Australia, Dubai, London and St Petersburg; not many partners but presumably supporting Aplicor's strategy of having fewer, higher volume partners. It appears that all or most of these partners are well established companies and have exclusivity with Aplicor in their respective geographies.
Aplicor requires both sales and consulting training as part of its authorization process, however, also provides the most liberal partner margins of 40 percent to 50 percent of software subscription. While the company claims it does not insist upon product exclusivity (e.g. Alliance partners can also represent other CRM software products), we couldn't help but notice that all of the identified Aplicor partners resold or implemented only Aplicor. It's unclear whether Aplicor is not so friendly to partners with competing products or their partner channel is fully satisfied with a single ondemand CRM software solution. One partner gave us an online tour of the Aplicor Partner Portal which included an impressive library of consulting tools, training collaterals, best practices and various software utilities.
